3 hours of DJ EZ! 'Lord A Mercy!'

If you know DJ EZ then this is a must for you.
3 hours of the total nike wearing legend doing what he does the best.

How can a DJ be this talented? Some of the tricks he pulls off make me get up, throw my chair and walk out the house! You have to watch the video to really appreciate his talents!

How he mixes is how I imagine I look, but I look more like a deranged chicken...

#ThisIsMyBaseline
THE biggest dance record of the year following Defected Records' recent UK No.1 smash Storm Queen 'Look Right Through' (MK Remix). Originally released last year, 'Bassline' has gained notoriety on the underground scene with incredible support coming in from A-list tastemakers Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Toddla T, Mistajam, Danny Howard, Nick Grimshaw & B.Traits amongst many others. Steadily climbing the Shazam pre-release chart, 'Bassline' is now set to be a massive chart success.

Sorry for my absence as of recent (not that you care). I took the Mrs. away for the weekend so had to be involved in my romancing and woo'ing.
Anyway, as I haven't been about I thought I would throw it back to some of my favourite House / Funky cuts!

Try tell me that these are not some of THE MOST AMAZING BEATS YOU HAVE EVER HEARD! And at somepoint you haven't shimmed a little bum shake to one of these?!

I have selected 5 but the list could go on and on and on and on and on... yeah you get the point.

Trackheaz - Feel

Fuzzy Logik - The Way You Move

Ear Dis - Hey Girl

Quentin Harris - Travelling

Dennis Ferrer - Church Lady

After neglecting my inbox (DJWillMalloy@Gmail.com) I decided to give it a tidy up. In-between the spam and chinese money request emails I found a email from one of my all time favourite artists Donae'o. To my delight it is his brand new album "The Forest of Zephron". Donae'o, I am sorry for missing this email and what humbling feeling to be included in the mail out since the Zephron Vinyl days. Without a doubt this is a great album! The album was released 02/12/2013 and it features productions from Dj Q, Artful Mark, Burga Boy, Sean McCabe and Carnao Beats. With features from Anton Romero, Atumpan, D Double E, Sneakbo, Mista Silva, FuseODG, Lethal Bizzle, Cleopatra, Trilla, C4, Ice Prince and Sarkodie.

If you haven't done so already, check it out and #getinvolved

This one particular track caught my attention, produced by the man of house at the moment Carnao Beats.

As I mentioned I have been off the House Music radar for a little while now. I stumbled across this gem from Amine Edge. I received a tweet about 100% House Mix CD from Kiss 100's DJ Pioneer. So I put it on while I did the dishes (oh yes) and this was the first track. At first I recognised the sample but couldn't put my finger on it. Then the vocals of the ladies favourite Mr. Frank Ocean came in. I am sure some of you may have already heard this and I am "late" but who cares! Let us celebrate good music!

Here is a little gem I found while tidying up my external hard drive. A radio set of myself from 2010 on my old weekly show on Deja Vu FM aka Vu Live.

Nothing but sexy soulful and deep house in the mix. Wow the nostalgia listening to this is immense. Some great times working with Deja and made a lot of great connections and movements.

Here is the track listing:

Ralf GUM feat. Kafele – Complicated (Raw Artistic Soul Mix)
Maya Jane Coles – What They Say
Kai and Kyle – Love No Limit (Kerri Chandler Mix)
Osunlade – Butterfly (Phil Asher’s Restless Soul Vocal Mix)
Nathan G – Inner Spirit
Alexander O’Neal – Lord (Bah Samba Mix)
BSTC feat. JL – Love It (Restless Soul Phil Asher Mix)
REELSOUL feat. Stephanie Cooke – A Thousand Ways (Groove Assassins Mix)
Roland Clarke – Lien On My Soul
Roland Clarke – I Love My Life
Groove Assassins – Afrik Bounce
Choklate – The Tea (The Layabouts Mix)
Romain vs Aphrodisiax – Disco 2 Night
Phil Asher & Kai Alce feat Kayenne – Someone (Vocal Mix)
DJ MA1 – High Definition
Reelsoul ft Kyla – For The Love Of You (Phil Asher Mix)
Danny Clark & Jay Benham feat Dawn Tallman – Conqueror
Glacier’s Selection – Afro Bionics – Djini

Pioneer have just let loose a brand-new version of the CDJ-900.
Coming with full-color LCD screen and the ability to play tacks wirelessly off your phone or tablet device.
It also comes with the infamous sync button... the less said about that the better.

I own a pair of CDJ1000's and they seem so outdated comap

2014...
Welcome back to Malloy's House.
I took some time away from DJin and blogging recently, mainly to see the birth of my second son (oh yes number 2) and to make the big move out of London to Northampton.

For those who know me, welcome back, for those who don't know me, hi nice to meet you.

The original Malloy's House blog was live from September 2011 and passed away through my bad in September 2013. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the previous blog, we had some great posts and got ALOT of hits. But when it did deactivate I lost all previous posts, mixes and all information (bad times).

So as we start 2014 as a new year, I present to you the New Malloy's House website.
The previous blog was 100% house music. At the time when I started to fade away from the scene, it was like someone knew and everyone jumped on the house music bandwagon. It is a madness to think that at one time I would play friends or work colleagues a house track and they would screw up their face. Now they screw up their face in another way put on some Jordan's and shuffle. But it's all good, the scene is healthy and I have been on the sideline too long now.

I will be posting mostly House but will throw in an assortment of everything else from time to time.

Here are some of my highlights of 2013... (bare with me 2013 was one hell of a year for me away music)
